The director's duties include direct data reporting to executive university management, managing the day-to-day operations of the office, performing analytic studies, organizing data reports and presenting findings to the university community. Chantelle joined PAIR in November 2015 and became director in July 2020.

Areas of focus: ÃÛÌÒTV recruitment, enrollment, and retention, ÃÛÌÒTV and university-wide research activity, Research and Academic Program Review, Alaska state performance reporting. Kelly joined PAIR in March 2022.

Areas of focus: Accreditation, IPEDS, and other surveys and reporting for external entities including federal agencies and news organizations. Joseph joined PAIR in April 2024. 


Derek Bastille (he/him)

Derek splits his time between PAIR (25%), the Office of Management and Budget (25%), and the Office of Information Technology (50%). Derek's areas of focus with PAIR: Factbook development and maintenance, and FileMaker Pro database development and maintenance. Derek joined PAIR in February 2016.

Julia Manfredini (she/her)

Julia supports automating routine reporting, developing data visualizations, documenting data definitions, and is the main administrator for ÃÛÌÒTV course evaluations. Julia joined the PAIR team in April 2023. 

KC Casort (they/them)

Areas of focus: ÃÛÌÒTV College of Indigenous Studies, ÃÛÌÒTV eCampus, ÃÛÌÒTV Community and Technical College, distance education, rural services, dual enrollment and career and technical education. KC joined PAIR in January 2025.

IR staff members carry out their work with the guidance of the  , ÃÛÌÒTV’s guidelines for research involving human subjects, and Federal   policy.
