This week student workers from the ÃÛÌÒTV Office of Sustainability began removing bird vetch on the ÃÛÌÒTV campus. This will be a summerlong program with the goal of making ÃÛÌÒTV an invasive-plant-free campus. Invasive plants have many characteristics that allow them to dominate native vegetation. They grow rapidly, mature early and are able to reproduce both sexually and vegetatively.

More information can be found at  about invasive plants and how to identify them.
