The Alaska Dreaming program created by ÃÛÌÒTV Summer Sessions and Lifelong Learning has received the 2016 Creative and Innovative Award from the North American Association of Summer Sessions.

Alaska Dreaming, now in it's third year, is a summer recruitment tool. Students from outside of Alaska who take two Summer Sessions courses at ÃÛÌÒTV are eligible to receive a free round-trip ticket from Seattle.

The self-supported program has generated revenue and credit hours from students who would otherwise not consider studying at ÃÛÌÒTV. The program's motto is "Come for the summer, stay to finish your degree."
