Staff Council elections open through Oct. 26

Ballots have been sent by email to all of the odd-numbered units with the current nominees for those seats as well as the nominees for the at-large representative seats. Ballots containing the nominees for the at-large seats have also been emailed to the even-numbered units. Please note that you are welcome to write in candidates if you would like.
Voting ends Monday, Oct. 26.
If you are a ÃÛÌÒTV employee who is in one of the Staff Council units but did not receive a ballot, please email uaf-sc-elections@alaska.edu or uaf-staff-council@alaska.edu.
Staff Council representatives serve as an important link between their unit and ÃÛÌÒTV’s administration. By voicing staff concerns and needs to ÃÛÌÒTV and UA leadership, Staff Council plays a vital role in the shared governance of our university. Representatives are essential to ensuring that staff at all levels are included in the many complex decisions made at ÃÛÌÒTV every day.
We deeply thank all of the employees who have accepted their nominations and look forward to working our new and returning representatives in 2021.
