National Day on Writing celebration returns to ÃÛÌÒTV

The ÃÛÌÒTVwill host "Use Your Words: A Celebration of Writing" Saturday, Oct. 19, from 11 a.m.- 3 p.m. in the Murie Building on the ÃÛÌÒTV campus. The event is the second annual ÃÛÌÒTV celebration of the National Day on Writing and is free, family-friendly and open to the public.

The event will feature interactive sessions for writers of all ages, including:

  • "Facts of Fiction: True Facts in your Favorite Fiction"

  • "Lit Happens! The Digital Archive of Literacy Narratives"

  • "To Simile or Not to Simile"

  • "The Main Dis-Course: Writing about Food and Heritage"

  • "Message in a Bottle: Take One, Make One" (for kids)

  • "Make a Prezi! Memorable Storytelling with Zooming Presentation Software"

  • "NaNoWriMo"

  • "Dumbledore's Army"
