The upcoming “Energy in the North” episode will feature Leasi Vanessa Lee Raymond, ACEP’s deputy director for strategic initiatives. When communities are planning energy system upgrades in Alaska, they need access to reliable and up-to-date energy and socioeconomic information, especially on energy use, population and costs. She talks about the newly revamped , which allows for easy data access.
Bill Stamm, CEO of Alaska Village Electric Cooperative, talks about the utility that covers the largest area and number of communities in Alaska and manages the maintenance and trains the operators in all the power plants.
“Energy in the North,” hosted by ACEP’s Amanda Byrd, explores the importance and opportunities that energy and power provide to Alaska and its people.
